(Anonymous) 2018-10-29 08:12 am (UTC)(link)For example: the character Tracer from Overwatch has a condition where she's needs a device to keep her "rooted" in normal spacetime or else may disappear at random; does she get to either (a) appear onboard with the device, or (b) is the condition itself healed in the train environment/world environment?

For memloss and recovery, how often would they get regain tokens as a general rule and how long would it take (ballpark) for them to be say, 50% recovered memory wise?
Also how small does a small household pet have to be for reasons.

(Anonymous) 2018-11-21 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)Do you have any sample apps you can show, so we can get an idea of what you're looking for?

Sorry for not mentioning this in more detail in the app, or bringing this up earlier - I didn't want the app to go too long into power specifics, and a lot of stuff like this slipped my mind when I got in.

Would an alternate loss version of a character require a new app if nothing else changed?

And assuming with appropriate powers regained, would the skeleton be summonable at either stage? Her method is to invite scattered soul fragments (from one or more individuals) to puzzle together into one refurbished soul, which I don't know if the corruption would affect?

- regain all “canon” memories upon arrival to aurora and proceed as a regular skill- or no-loss route character
- keep all PG memories and memories regained during her time there, but continue regaining “canon” memories in aurora like an amnesia route
- ??something else??
OR should I just choose between another fresh reset as an amnesia route or not regaining memories she’s still missing as a skill- or no-loss route?

• You can do multiple types of bonds in a thread, but can only count the same kind once for sparks! You can also only get the initiator/team bonus once. For example, if your character begins a thread by giving a gift, they get 200 sparks for that, but will get 100 for every other type of bond in the thread, and will get 0 for further gifts given/received. If your character was the gift recipient, they get 100 sparks for that, and nothing for a return gift, but they can get 200 if they respond with a hug!
OKAY SO if Crow and 80H are constantly going at it like rabbits re: the General (Physical Affection) bond, only one of them can get the 200 sparks for the sex and the other gets a hundred. Is that correct?

I've been thinking of apping from the Exalted tabletop setting again; specifically I'm thinking of apping a character from a specific era in the setting's history, the First Age. In the latest edition the sourcebooks give a rough overview of the era and what the social positions of the PC character types were like at the time (which were vastly different from the present-day setting), as well as outline key historic events for the setting.
Otherwise it's very sparse on specific details and is mostly described in broad strokes. It's deliberately left vague how exactly it was a golden age beyond sorcery and miraculous wonders being more common, or how life was like during the First Age besides it overall sucking less before things went wrong, etc. This is so that GMs can tailor aspects of the era and specific past events for their table and their players' present-day characters if they want to play with those things.
Which I mean to say if it's okay for me app a character from that era when I'd have to do a fair bit of headcanon/worldbuilding of my own? Specifically I'm apping one of the PC character types (a Solar) whose most major accomplishment was his involvement in the founding of an island city-state in the middle of the ocean frontier, so a lot of his stuff sort of exists outside the glorious First Age empire that Solars were stated to have had and hopefully won't cause continuity issues if someone else also wants to app from Exalted. The setting's a huge place.

Do you have any guidance on how much detail to include in the character summaries? Like what kind of length are you guys looking for, etc.

In previous teamnesia games, I've tended to "blur out" Aoko's name in her memories, so she doesn't regain it before I'm ready. Would that still work in this setting, or would it essentially mean that she's always got a blip in those particular memories?

Do people get a hundred points from Team Specific bonds?
Like if Clover a joke, they get two hundred. Does the person who hears the joke get 100?

(Anonymous) 2019-11-10 04:09 am (UTC)(link)Do I need to come up with a standard AU like "this character joined the party earlier/is in a different faction/had a different upbringing" etc? Or shave off the serial numbers and say they're My Totally Unique OC? Or do I just need to say it's """"AU"""" (technically not very AU but I'm saying it's AU because nobody can prove it is or isn't)?
I assumed it was the first, but I just wasn't sure since the reason for AUing is "the mods can't check against the original plot/etc in the first place".
