(PClouds here) Since it came up in the Discord chat: while I'm guessing the general rule is that characters show up without much in the way of personal items, what's the guidelines on characters with special items either tied to their powers or a physical condition they might have?

For example: the character Tracer from Overwatch has a condition where she's needs a device to keep her "rooted" in normal spacetime or else may disappear at random; does she get to either (a) appear onboard with the device, or (b) is the condition itself healed in the train environment/world environment?

Hi!

Characters do not normally bring any personal items, or even their clothes. However, if the item is absolutely necessary for powers use or survival, it can come along. We've added a section to the app where you can let us know if you need to bring an item in.
