Team Benefits
★ Carriages - New characters wake up in their room in their team's carriage (train car). Each carriage is decorated to match the team's colour and themes. The bottom floor has a small communal kitchen (with just enough room for one person to work), living room, bathroom (with enough toilet and shower stalls for everyone), and laundry room (with just one washer/dryer, a deep sink for hand washing, and a fold-down ironing board and iron). In the living room is a set of lockers in which newly purchased items will appear. The top floor has 7 bedrooms -- one for each possible team member, with a single bed and some basic storage. Basic toiletries, cleaning supplies, and cooking ingredients are provided, but luxury and pre-cooked items must be bought with sparks. Both bedrooms and the communal space can be upgraded using sparks. Only a Chain belonging to a team member can unlock the door to the carriage, so don't lend yours out!
When carriages are upgraded, the upgrades stay in the rooms they were bought for. This means a new character apping onto an existing team might end up in an already-upgraded bedroom. Bedroom numbers are shown on the left-hand side in the taken list, and any upgrades will be added to this page.
☆ Uniforms & Themes - On arrival, characters are provided with 3 of every item in their team's starter uniform. Starter uniforms are a collection of themed clothes that can be mixed and matched as the character chooses. These items will be replaced automatically if they are destroyed -- but if someone abuses this the privilege may be removed ICly by The Construct. If your character doesn't like the uniform or wants more clothes, they can buy some from the spark shop. There's no limit on the style or quantity of clothes characters can buy, but they will always be in team colours (white, black, grey, brown, and the designated team colour). You do not have to keep to the uniforms theme -- only your colour choice is limited. There can be variations in the exact shade, and accents/accessories of other colours are fine, but outfits should be recognisable as belonging to your team. For example, you can see variations of terracotta orange in Senna's starter pack, but a deep red wouldn't fit.
Additionally, each team has an OOC theme which is reflected in the style of the uniform, carriage interior, and team bonds. This is an OOC thing, so there's no need for your characters to consider it, nor are IC clothing options bound to it, but we're including them below to make it easier to envision what upgrades might look like!
★ Power Sharing - In addition to the powers your character has naturally, they can purchase a teammate's abilities. Both characters must consent, and they must have a bond The Construct recognises as significant. This is up the players to determine, but in general think of it as needing a bond level of 5/10. ICly, when a character uses the spark shop app to buy someone else's power, and The Construct approves, the character whose power is being shared receives a popup on their Chain asking for approval. When they approve, the receiving character receives the power as if they were a powerloss character getting a regain. Thus, a shared power should be the same "size" as a regain -- one spell, one summon, etc. The character sharing does not lose the ability if they share it.
Currently, there are 6 teams, with 7 members each. If we get a significant queue, we will open more teams rather than increase the number of characters on each team. However, if we end up with a lot of competition to get on certain teams and/or a lot of reapps trying to regain their old spots, the mods may add one extra slot to in demand teams. Feel free to contact us if there are any problems with the team/slot balance! When carriages are upgraded, the upgrades stay in the rooms they were bought for. Carriage: This carriage has a cozy cottage feel, with ceiling beams and lots of natural stone. The equipment in the kitchen is a little old-fashioned, but perfectly serviceable. Lights mimic old fashioned flames and lamps as well, leaving the living spaces bathed in a warm but slightly dimmer-than-average light. Bedrooms are equipped with solid wooden beds and standing wardrobes.

Make a promise - It doesn’t have to be serious and you don’t have to keep it, but it’s more fun when you declare it publicly!Starter Uniform: 3 each of: everything here, in team colours
Give a Compliment - Sincere or not, telling someone what you like about them is a great way to connect!

Lights mimic old fashioned flames and lamps as well, leaving the living spaces bathed in a warm but slightly dimmer-than-average light. Bedrooms are equipped with solid wooden beds and standing wardrobes.
Hot Spring: A door in Ginger's bathroom area leads to a private hot spring bath. It's roomy, warm, and cozy, with a wood slat wall that reveals an illusion of cozy, earthy brush on the other side. There's an entryway with soaking towels provided, and areas with several depths and levels of heat. The bath can comfortably fit about 10 people, but the stones around the edges are abundant enough that another few could sit in and enjoy the steam without getting into the water.
Game Room: From the living area, you can enter this team's extra recreational room! As you enter you'll find lots of comfy couches and chairs set around a low round table, the perfect setup for board games and cards. Past that is a billiards table and dartboard, along with storage for games and supplies. In the back of the room are a few arcade machines, with pinball and a few generic arcade video games, as well as another long, semi-circular couch with a TV, for cozying up watching movies or playing consoles (though none are provided by default).
Bedroom 1: This room is a plush, high-end bedroom, with immaculate marble floors, solid wood bookshelves and desk and a kingsize bed. Furniture is intricately carved and in some placed gilded, though not to the extent of being gaudy. The high traffic areas of the room have plush rugs in gold and navy blue, and there's a walk-in closet for plenty of clothes!
A door in this bedroom leads to a luxurious private bathroom, with a large whirlpool tub, spacious shower, plenty of storage and a sitting area. The floor is more marble, in this case heated from below. The toilet is in a separate area, keeping the spa-like feel in the main bathroom. Both bathroom and bedroom are soundproofed!
Bedroom 2:The wall along the hallway and one side wall of this room are entirely taken up by bookshelves, full of copies of books from the library and various flowers in pots and vases. There's a large, solid oak desk with a comfortable chair and plenty of room for reading and writing. On the other side wall, the bed is a spacious one with a headboard of more shelves and a matching armchair near by.
The back half of the room is separated from the front by a folding paper screen. Pulling it back reveals that this side of the room is a false outside area, with a Japanese-style meditation area on the porch, opening on a small matching garden with more flowers and a koi pond with a mini waterfall. While you can't go beyond the bounds of the garden wall, this area always seems as if it's outdoors in the midst of a mountain springtime, complete with plum blossoms falling from the "sky".
Invisible to the naked eye, one of the bookshelves on the side wall is actually a secret door. Pulling on one particular book will cause it to open, revealing... a much racier second bedroom. In here there's a bed easily big enough for three, with all the required rigging for some kinky activity. The decor is rich and fancy but easily cleaned, including a few other furniture pieces, and there's plenty of storage for personal use gear! This room is completely soundproof.
Bedroom 3: This room has been upgraded into a grown-up jungle gym. The walls and 14' ceilings are covered in rock climbing courses of varying difficulties, save the areas instead taken up by large, sunny windows, and one corner. In that corner, the height of the room leaves space for a spacious loft of bookshelves and cozy leather furniture, as well as a coffee table made of a solid polished stone, like a giant river rock. The loft is accessible only via climbing -- either the nearby rock walls or the fireman's pole for quick descent. Below the loft is a double-bed in a cozy sleeping nook, covered in rock-shaped pillows and warm quilts.

Carriage: Thyme's carriage is light, airy, and modern. Clean lines and simple shapes create an open, uplifting atmosphere. The communal facilities are all high-end but minimal. All curtains are sheer and let in plenty of light during the day. Bedrooms have simple metal bedframes with basic wall-mounted headboards and low dressers.

Bedroom 1: This room has been expanded into a Necromancy Studies Lab! Now a solid 20x20ft room, the floor is a sealed concrete so smooth it's shiny, which cleans easily and doesn't hold stains. Along one wall are several sturdy storage units, with enough cabinets and drawers to hold any tools a magician and/or scientist might need for research, along with two small worktables, all equipped with wheels. About half of this wall is taken up by shelving -- some open and some with clear doors, for storing specimens. One shelving unit is a bookcase, containing several blank notebooks and binders, as well as a few basic references on local flora and fauna from any currently purified areas. At the opposite wall are several roomy air vents with a switch to control a three-speed fan. On the floor below them is a large floor drain -- where the mess goes no one can know, but it does go away! For help with cleanup there's a laundry sink with a hose -- both a little on the small size, but with plenty of water pressure. All of these are there to support the large necropsy table, bolted into the floor near the drain for extra stability.
Above the shelves there is a loft area with the bed and dresser. For privacy, a screen may be rolled down from the ceiling to block this area off, but by default it merely has metal railings.

Theme: A crackling fire, glittering dragon's scales, a grand display of artwork, pride & elegance
Bonds:
Carriage: With lots of dark stone and faux candles, mini chandeliers, and a living room wall dominated by a huge obsidian fireplace, Senna's carriage is dramatic, to say the least. Their kitchen lacks a microwave, but it does have a real brick oven instead. Bedrooms are all stone, with four-poster beds and lots of silk and velvet decorative pillows and built-in stone shelving.

Decoration - Give someone a makeover, paint the train, bejewel your pants. It doesn't have to look good, just make it look different!Starter Uniform: 3 each of: everything here, in team colours
Bringing Warmth - Literally with warm tea, figuratively with affection, any action that warms cold hands or a cold heart counts!

Lounge: Should a lucky Hero touch the right stone near the fireplace in Senna's living room, they'll find a secret door. The panel shifts aside, opening up into the team's private, extra-cozy lounge space. The walls are the typical black stone, and set into a side wall there's a roomy aquarium -- empty of residents, currently, and much more real and requiring maintenance than the decor of Jasmine. There are several chairs and couches in a fancy style that are, nevertheless, extremely comfortable. Matching ottomans and dark wood coffee tables give room to put your feet up or set a drink down. In one corner is a huge pile of pillows and cushions of varying sizes, so one may soften the couches up or get comfortable right on the ornate rug. The seating is all arranged to account for the large projector screen on one wall, perfect for movie watching. Flanking the screen are two tall shelving units, one set up for books and one for makeovers -- by default they're mostly empty, aside from a few choice horror B-movies and a complete collection of Edgar Allen Poe on the bookshelf. The makeover side has a vanity mirror, and many drawers of varying sizes perfect for organizing makeup, styling tools, and costumes. This room has no windows, but the warm artificial lighting has a dimmer switch!
Bedroom 1: This room appears to have been converted into a sort of mini-tower, with pale stone walls blocked by dark wooden beams. There are several large windows to let in natural light, and succulents in pots and ferns in baskets hanging from the rafters. At the top is a domed ceiling supported by more beams and rafters. A pulley system supports a comfortable seat which can be moved up and down to access all levels of the room. The stone is just slightly textured and sturdy, perfect for carving or painting on. The second level is a cozy loft with a big comfortable bed with linens in fiery colours and a dresser, all of which fold up along the wall with use of a button, revealing the full ceiling to the bottom level.
The first level, or bottom floor, is the main space of the tower. The wide floor is smooth and easy to write up with chalk, and has a drain for washing if necessary. There are bookshelves around the perimeter of the room, broken up by a chalkboard, a whiteboard, and a built-in desk with plenty of storage space. Both desk and its accompanying chair can be adjusted for height! There's also a work table with a sink and bunsen burner, and other tools and safety supplies in a closet nearby.

Carriage: The entire Jasmine carriage looks, from the inside, as if it's set inside an aquarium. The fish appear to be real, but the aquarium maintains itself and can't be broken into. Floors are designed to mimic a sandy bottom, and skylights (even downstairs...?) made with textured glass leave rippling patterns of light like sun through water. In the bedrooms, the beds have giant seashells for headboards, and wardrobes are covered in fake coral.

Relaxation/Self-Care - Take a nap with someone, have a spa day, go sunbathing. If you do it with other people, relaxation is a great way to bond!

Kitchen: Jasmine's kitchen has been upgraded, and is now spacious and well-lit, with granite countertops and a decorative backsplash in shimmering shades of blue. Amongst the white cabinets around the edges of the room are an oversized oven with a gas range, a powerful dishwasher, a deep sink, and a fridge with a separate freezer, both large enough to easily hold a week's worth of food for 7 people. An island in the center has a breakfast bar and a separate small sink, and below the counter is a wine rack and matching dispenser. Above the island hangs a stylish pot rack, and on one wall is a magnetic knife holder with a set of fine carbon steel kitchen knives. A roomy pantry sits near the kitchen entrance, with a cabinet above it containing one set of nice dinnerware and cutlery -- 10 place settings, in case of guests. All around the counters there's a section of floor that, when willed, will lift smaller team members to the correct height to access counters and upper cabinets, and all knives and other implements will adjust their size to match the hands using them.
Bedroom 1: This room has been upgraded into a lush paradise. The back wall is a waterfall feature, leading to a pond of waterlilies and lotus that flows around the borders of 3/4 of the room and supports a healthy population of koi. The side walls are covered in shelving, much of which is taken up by live plants. Baskets of always-blooming flowers and colourful foliage hang at varying heights all around the room, leaving an artfully overgrown impression.
The room also features a large walk-in closet, tall desk, king-sized bed, and low table with cushions for seating, largely in Jasmine blue. There are several live moss "rugs", cool and soft under bare feet. A majority of the ceiling is skylight, letting in the sun or the stars. This light can be covered with a rolling screen at will.
The room also has several additional side-rooms:
• A door from this room now leads to a windowless, soundproofed sexy party room! Inside, the room is roomy and dramatic, with a black stone floor and red silk wallpaper. It's centered on one large, sturdy four-poster bed with rings embedded in various places for kinky fun, decked out in black and red satin. Along one wall is a bar, with shelving for any bottles or implements the owners may collect over time. The opposite wall is completely taken up by storage -- a wardrobe for sexy outfits, hooks to hang straps from, drawers for sex toys and assorted needs. By default the storage is mostly empty, aside from one folded up suspension harness and a pair of fuzzy pink handcuffs. On the ceiling and near the shelves are several huge, completely gratuitous mirrors. The room also contains a dance pole, and small foldable poker table with two matching folding chairs.
As an addition to the above, there is a fully equipped private bathroom accessible only through the party room. It features a jacuzzi tub and a spacious shower with two high-tech, detachable shower heads, and programmable LED lighting. Most of the bathroom is a natural aesthetic, with real potted plants filling any and all empty spaces. The counter is wide and has two sinks and enough cabinetry to hold toiletries for two beauty-conscious people.
This room is also accessible via Licorice Bedroom 3.
• Connected to both the main room and the party room (the latter with a doorbell and lock) is a two-part mage's studio. The main area consists of a roomy desk with a fancy ergonomic chair, and plants: in one corner what appears to be a living tree sprouts, its branches spreading across the adjacent walls to form shelves. Scattered amongst them are flowerboxes, and pots for growing plants are stagged about the floor according to height. Though nothing yet grows in them, they're already full of fertile potting soils of varying types. Along the tree-free walls are cabinets, some with glass doors, perfect for storing tools and specimens. The second part is a sterile experiment area with cold storage, secure metal cabinets, and a dissection table. There's a sanitation sink and shower in the corner and a large drain in the floor. The entire studio is magically secured: it comes with an extensive safety system including but not limited to sprinklers and a "panic button" that suppresses all magical abilities within the room.

Beds have ornately carved frames and canopies, and drapes are heavy brocade. Refined and elegant, this room features several bookshelves, a fireplace, and a large desk with a comfortable chair, all against windows showing a peaceful mountainous backdrop. The bookshelves are by default mostly empty, aside from a collection of 20 or so romance novels of varying quality, and a copy of a very handy and wittily written genre writer's guide to engaging prose. The desk contains a single blank notebook and team-coloured fountain pen. For times when a more cozy reading time is desired, one corner features two plush high-backed chairs, upholstered in purple velvet, and a small table equipped with a fancy tea set and an electric kettle. There are several pillows and throw blankets, making it easy to wrap up and escape from the outside world.

In the bedrooms, beds are shaped like fluffy clouds and piled in fuzzy blankets, and dressers are pastel colours and have no sharp edges.
Kitchen: The kitchen in this car has been upgraded to a much bigger size, with easily enough room for the whole team to help out at once. With extensive counter space and an island breakfast bar for casual dining, the room is ripe for company and family atmosphere. Though the appliances still have cute cartoon faces, they are larger and high-end, with a double oven, wide gas range with added griddle, double fridge, and a chest freezer. The sink is large and there's a spacious and efficient dishwasher, as well as colourful dishes and matching utensils. Also, these.
Bedroom 2: This room is cavernous, seemingly carved out of a kind of soft white stone that's pleasantly smooth and cool to the touch. The wall along the hallway is carved into a large wardrobe and vanity, complete with both vanity mirror and another full-length one hung nearby. Throughout the room there are natural windows, holes that stream in endless sun and moonlight regardless of the real weather outside, and display a temperate forest full of flowers and birds. In various places there are pillars covered in scratchy rope, perfect for sharpening the claws of cats both small and giant. There are soft and fuzzy cushions here and there for sitting or lying on, including one huge rectangular furry pet bed, half obscured by a pile of pillows and blankets. In one corner, the stone floor gives way to a pit of warm fine sand.
Along the outer wall is one large opening, blocked by a simple curtain, which can be fully drawn back at will. Outside is a walled garden area, with trees big enough for a large animal to perch in, flowers, and a natural hot spring with pools of three different temperatures. A stone patio with waterproof cushions extends the comfort of the inner room into the outside, creating the illusion of a single harmonious living space.
Bedroom 4: This room is cheerful and warm, with incredibly high ceilings, creamy yellow walls and decorations in reds, oranges, and pinks. The room at large is clearly a cat's paradise -- several cat trees form pillars about the room, all connected via bridges and tunnels to two walls lined with shelves, caves, scratching poles, and hammocks. One side wall features built-in bookshelves and a desk, leading to an entertainment center in the corner with a large TV. There's a couch and an armchair in the TV corner, and a comfortable rolling office chair for the desk.
Above the entertainment area is a loft, including a king-size bed awash in pillows, and a small rugged area with low dressers and a shelf, in case the resident isn't feeling up to moving up and down. This loft is accessible via a rolling ladder that can be placed out of the way when not in use. It has a great view of the outside wall's floor to ceiling windows, which display a tropical paradise full of a riot of brightly coloured flowers. The windows let in tons of natural light, though they're equipped with blackout curtains as well. Several pots around the room bring some of the flowers inside, though nothing accessible is toxic to cats, of course.
