As we travel through the universe, the Aurora will leave purified Stars in its wake. On this page we'll list previous Stars for reference in developing new ones and for players whose characters have been around for more than one.

Nov 2018 - Jan 2020: Origin

environment: A jungle island with its Prism set on a beach of fine white sand. The sea is gentle and warm, featuring a coral reef full of bright, colourful fish. Further inland is a a colourful rainforest environment, full of buzzing insects, singing birds, large flowers, and succulent fruits.

A path from the beach leads into a network of caves full of rainbow crystals that reflect sparkling light onto the floor, and feel soothingly warm to the touch. The carved stone path passes natural caverns and exits after a brief jaunt into the clearing in which the Aurora is stopped. The ground of the clearing, much like the rest of the forest, is carpeted in soft moss, and while it's generally warm and humid, is a pleasant place to hang out -- when there isn't a Trial entrance taking up half the space.

From the clearing there is a dirt path that winds off into the trees. After about ~1km, there are the remains of a modern town in the woods. While it's slightly overgrown and waterlogged from its' previous condition taken over my malicious jungle, the town is mostly in good shape. Now that the Star is purified, this town is inhabited by the original population. They consist of the Children of Air & Children of Land -- many-winged humans and deer centaurs respectively. As of the Aurora moving on, the townspeople are being led by Lily, the daughter of the previous Mayor, who perished as a monster during the Star's corruption.

Past the town is a swampy area that fades back into the ocean. Wetland birds can be found here, as well as a host of frogs, geckos, and fish. While this area is no longer corrupted it's still somewhat dangerous -- perfectly normal alligators still bite!

Across the sea is a second island, full of beautiful white ruins. There's a temple, a tower, and various other ancient buildings here, all covered in greenery and flowers and inhabited by birds and other wildlife.

notable creatures in corrupted areas:

Snakes - black snakes with a venom that leaves one dizzy and nauseous. With a big enough dose, this venom could even stop your heart.

Furry Pig-beasts - harmless and tasty!

Tigers - six-eyed, horned, saber-tooth tigers which are less tasty.

Plants - carnivorous and/or poisonous plants of varying types. Some are normally toxic, some cause status effects such as truth-telling or hallucinations.

Sentient Water - black water in corrupted areas has a mind of its own and will pull Heroes under, to be eaten by sea monsters.

Geckos - giant and maneating! Victims are swallowed whole and slowly turn into living glass statues.

Slimes - caustic monsters that take on the shape of your fears or insecurities. They're immune to damage, but melt when confronted with laughter.
