Memory regain speed is 100% based on activity and how many memories you've got, so we can't give a general rule. It's possible to earn two tokens with a single Link post if the entire game tagged it, but it all depends on how many sparks your character is generating.
A slower tagger might get one or two tokens in a month, but someone who has a lot of threads will get more. At that rate it depends on how many memories you're listing. As one memory is generally one "scene" a character with a lot of screen time and a long canon will take a long time to get things back vs a side character from a video game.
As for pets, nothing bigger than a large dog and nothing sapient/superpowered is allowed, so just assume a normal household pet is generally okay.
